The Men's track team was cut at the University of Vermont a few years ago -- but then was quickly reinstated in full force just three years later.

If OU did this, they could reduced the deficit at the Athletic Department while initiating an unprecedented fund raising drive for a Ohio University Bobcat Field House. During the year that the field house is set to finish, the AD would reinstate the men's track team so that it has the ability to actually compete with the rest of the MAC and midwest schools. Of course, a field house really has the potential to turn around the whole athletics program at OU.
