At their meeting this Thursday-Friday, the OU Board of Trustees decided to not decide on this issue, but later stated they have the authority to decide if they want to.
In other words, the OU Board of Trustees decided to maintain a hands off approach to one of the most significant issues facing the university since the plagiarism scandal. This is kind of ironic, because that is the same approach the Board maintained months before the plagiarism issue turned in to an international embarrassment for OU.
