Critique of Athletic Dept Report of NCAA Compliance Procedures

I found document called “Governance and Commitment to Rules Compliance” issued by the Ohio University Athletic Department a few years back. I am not sure if this type of report occurs on an annual basis or if it was just an assessment of the Athletic Department’s compliance. I have not found any other such document, although I do know compliance staff is a very important part of every athletic department.

Anyway, this document outlines many important responsibilities and activities of the Athletic Department, including the need to stay in compliance with NCAA policies (as well as with U.S. Department of Education Title XI laws).

If OU deems is important to stay in compliance with NCAA policies (with a “zero-tolerance” policy), why hasn’t the compliance staff or Athletic Director Hocutt responded to my recent findings of blatant violations? I emailed Director Hocutt on April 2nd and still have not received a reply from anyone.
